Crested Butte, CO: THIS TRIP WAS SMALL, BUT MIGHTY!!! Check back here soon for a trip report!!! Crested Butte has something for everyone. First, DIVERSE SKIING. It has a great progression of terrain - from beginner to intermediate to advanced. Add to that - uncrowned slopes, fantastic grooming and great conditions. Second, DIVERSE NON-SKIING!!! Some of the most unique bars, restaurants and nightlife found in any ski town. From sushi to sandwiches - great places to dine and the variety of food is amazing. Although it's a small town, there are more than 30 bars to choose from and live music most nights (30 bars, 7 nights - that's 4.3 bars/night...perfect) . Also, lots of specialty shops and galleries to explore. We will be staying at Plaza Condos (excellent place to stay!) - located just 100 yards from the Queen Quad lift. Free lift into town which is only 3 miles away.

Mammoth Mtn, CA: SOLD OUT!!! 44 PEOPLE GOING!!! Curtis has paid for the airlines tickets and locked in the price (the airlines are about to add an another fuel charge). Mammoth has great skiing terrain for all ability levels. 3,100 ft of vertical - 27 lifts - 3 gondolas - 2 high speed 6 packs - 9 high speed quads. More than 3,500 skiable acres and over 150 trails....and that's not counting the off piste runs and BEER RUNS. Lots of places to party after the slopes close - with a great mix of live entertainment. We will be staying at Juniper Springs - beautiful condo units with 2 beds/2 baths, kitchen and dining area, indoor hot tubs and outdoor pool, hi speed internet. See flyer for more on accommodations. Among the planned activities are a Pub Crawl/Poker Run, Pizza Party and our traditional Alcohol Liquidation party. This has been a long requested trip and will sell fast at this affordable price.

Meribel, France: SOLD OUT!!! 27 people going - with 23 of them doing the Nice add-on !!! If you're still interested, contact Curtis Bell for options. LOCATION - LOCATION - LOCATION - The Hotel Le Mottaret is well situated - right next to the pistes in a quiet area - yet close to all major conveniences. It sits at 5,800 feet - above the main village of Meribel - and right at the heart of the Three Valleys which comprise the largest inter-connected ski domain in the world!!! The Hotel is located in the area of Les Allues - which is just 1 of 3 valleys we we will ski. Les Allues has 75 miles of pistes for all skiing abilities. This central location gives us access to 375 miles of pistes and 200 lifts that make up the Three Valleys. The Hotel Le Mottaret has a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and nightclubs. This trip includes dinner each night and breakfast each morning.

There is an add-on option to Nice. Nice, itself, is an attraction. The blue-green sea, diverse shopping, great dining and art-deco façades. Must see spots are the Cours Saleya Flower Market, Matisse Museum, ancient Roman ruins and the Russian Cathedral. Nice is second only to Paris in the number of museums and galleries. Located right by Monaco, Nice is were Monte-Carlo is. We will stay at the Westminster Hotel - right at the heart of the Promenade des Anglais. The hotel faces the sea and is walking distance to town and the narrow streets of old Nice.

Holiday Valley, NY: OUR FAMOUS HV CONDO TRIP SOLD OUT (as usual)!!!! 55 members went!!! It was a good old fashioned WSC bus party on the way down - complete with many "ceiling presses", food, drinks, cherry bombs and embarrassing moments that will surely be exploited down the road. Then, Cadillac Jacks welcomed us with munchies and drink specials. Many partied in Ellicottville, which was having a jazz fest weekend. OH, and the SKIING - conditions were PERFECT, lift lines were small and the Blacksheep raced well. A great ski in/ski out weekend!!!

Holimont Ski Area, NY: GREAT DAY TRIP!!! 35 skiers were glad they went to Holimont!!! Conditions rocked - good snow and sunshine all day long. WSC had a room all to ourselves (always a good idea) and it opened on to the slopes. We finally got Tom (our favorite bus driver) on a chair lift. OK, chair was stationary and only went in circles to train kids to get on/off - but it's a start. We'll have him doin' BUMPS by March!!!

Cockaigne & Peek'n Peak, NY: Due to the cat-like reflexes of our fearless trip leader, Curtis, this changed from a semi-popular 1 day trip to a very popular 2 day trip - and it was A BLAST!!!!! The bus ride was true WSC style - featuring 300 jello shots (and NOT the wimpy kind). Conditons were great both days and the WSC BLACKSHEEP KICKED FAGOWEE BOOTY at the Cockaigne Memorial Race. We still got it, just need to get it out on the slopes more often!!! Lots of free stuff was given away on the bus (thanks to R Ski Ranch) and a great time was had by all.

Bristol Mountain, NY: 38 spots sold!!! Staying at the Inn on the Lake in Canadiagua - which is 20 minutes from Bristol Mountain. 2 per room, 2 day lifts, breakfast and Saturday evening dinner included. CMSC Race (more...)

Holiday Valley, NY: Sign up while you can still get a spot - bus is over half full!!! This is the party trip of the year!!! It's Mardis Gras at Holiday Valley. Live entertainment, wine & cheese party, cook-outs on Sat & Sun, SNOW BAR AT YODELER, cardboard box races, Ski Queen Pageant, a parade, Dummy Downhill race, costume party and give-aways. We may even ski. Staying at Edelweiss (2 minute crawl from Eville). GET ON THE BUS - SURPRISES IN STORE FOR THE RIDE DOWN ON FRIDAY!!! 2 per room, 2 day lifts, meals not included.

Put-In-Bay: This is our annual "JP's Put-In-Bay Weeekend" event - featuring a Saturday Pub Crawl, followed by a buffet dinner at Mr. Ed's! It's not for the faint of heart - so get some sleep before you go and plan to party like a rockstar. You know the drill - you're on your own to get there and find a place to stay. After that, there will be organized events all weekend (croquet, yoga, book club meetings, etc....). Check out the pic's from 2008!!! Curacao: SOLD OUT!!! This trip has it all - diving, snorkling, swimming with dolphins and laying on the beach with an umbrella drink in both hands. Where else can you go where you have friends that actually live on the island? Karen and Bart - long time WSC members and residents of Curacao - will be our own personal tour guides. The Finger Lakes: A Winery Trip is back by popular demand!!! We will be staying in Bath and visiting several great wineries in the Keuka Lake Region. Also planned is a visit to Bully Hill winery - where they mix entertainment with wine tasting.
