Kitzbuhel, Austria:
12/20/11 UPDATE.......SOLD OUT!!! 44 going!!! To be put on a waiting list, contact
our Trip Director, Curtis Bell.
GAME PLAN: 7 nights lodging at
4 star Hotel Astoria, 2 per room,
breakfast and dinner included daily. Bus transfers from Munich. Feb 4-7 we are offering an add-on to Prague for only $385 per person.
Kitzbuhel has long been one of the big names in the ski world. A beautiful town
with diverse terrain spread out over several mountains with lots of new lifts and ski areas on the same lift ticket. The
medieval town of Kitzbühel (Kitz to locals) is a definitive Austrian ski resort - featuring the all-time great ski race
(the Hahnenkamm in January), a freeriding hill, a snowboarding/beginners hill and access to the vast, Wilder Kaiser
Brixental SkiWelt area. The resort incorporates five satellite villages, so you have other towns to ski also - which is
always a great part of skiing in Europe. To help visitors get familiar with the area, there are six clearly marked routes
for skiers of all abilities. Also, they've (finally) recognized the need to modernize the lift system - resulting in an
eclectic mix of slick new lifts and antiquated chairs.
There's a lot to like about the resort off the slopes too - its
charm, swanky shops and cafes, vibrant night life and excellent mountain restaurants. It is located by a railroad line
and roadways, making it easy to do day trips to wonderful places like, Salzburg, Innsbruck and travel to the center of
Europe. This trip will be in conjunction with a ski club out of Maryland. See trip flyer for more info.

Add-On to Prague:
12/20/11 UPDATE......36 out of 44 members on the Austria trip are signed up for the "add-on" to Prague. $385 per person. There is also
an option to stay longer, if desired.
GAME PLAN: "Hundred-Spired Prague", "The mother of cities", "Magical Prague". These are just three
titles proudly worn by this capital of the Czech Republic. Since the very beginnings of the Czech state, it has been
its natural political, business and cultural centre. This historic yet modern city is more than 1,000 years old. It has an
extraordinary charm about it which can be sensed in every season. Its status as a UNESCO World Heritage site speaks for
its worth.
