What we do

Ski, Ride, Race, Travel with friends, Bike, Hike and Paddle, Golf, Explore Put-in-Bay and Presque Isle State Park, Enjoy Wine Tastes, Pub Crawls, Picnics, Pubs-of-the-Month, and Dinner/Dances– as well as seek any excuse to get together and party!  We have the best planned, best priced and most fun events and trips around! 

How we do it

People – This is our secret weapon!  We’re known for our adventurous members who create fun (and just a little bit of trouble) wherever they go.  We’re all about going new places, meeting new people and trying new things. 

Experience – Our Trip Leaders have planned and led trips all over the world for the 60-plus years that our club has existed. They are committed, year-round, to finding us the best locations and the best prices.

Buying Power – With over 130 members, we’re able to get great group discounts on everything from Ski trips to Weekend Bus Trips to exciting locations.  We even subsidize many of our trips!  And that alone pays for your membership.

Our Goal

We are simply a GREAT ski club that promotes travel, activities and FUN during all 4 seasons.  In the spring, we start biking – with our weekly Pedal Parties running straight through the fall.  We also run Wine Bus Trips, visiting both local and far-away wineries.  Summertime features paddling adventures, lake parties, picnics, golf outings and more.  We also run summer and fall trips, anything a member suggests and is willing to plan.  In the winter, we live up to our name as we offer awesome ski trips – from 1 day or 2 day local trips to week-long trips to Europe and out West.  Also, we have a race team called the Black Sheep, which competes most weekends in the Cleveland Metro Ski Council circuit.  Our Black Sheep consist of racers from all levels – beginner to advanced.  

Our Future

Planning is underway to visit those parts of the world that we haven’t seen yet – and to revisit parts that we just gotta do again!  We’ve also started teaming with other clubs - both locally and throughout the U.S. - for even more buying power, and the opportunity to make some great new friends in the process. 

Your Participation

Be sure to check out our Facebook page with over 300 friends and the club photo album.  If you live in Northeastern Ohio or Western Pennsylvania, come to our monthly Membership Meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at Giorgio's Restaurant on Rt. 422 in Niles or our Pub of the Month on the third Tuesday at rotating venues.  Be prepared to meet lots of great people, all geared towards FUN!  We have something for everyone – both skiers and non-skiers – and we’d love to have you join.
